Kommetjie Accommodation in a small village on the Atlantic coast south of Chapmans Peak Drive on the way to the Cape Point Nature Reserve. There are kilometres of beautiful white beach with great waves for surfing. It is a 45 minute drive to Cape Town along a beautiful drive and 10 minutes to the warm waters of False Bay.

Kommetjie is a fisherman's paradise for both offshore fishing as well as beach angling and crayfishing. The offshore reefs provide perfect conditions for huge kelp beds where crayfish and perlemoen find shelter and food.

Bird life flourishes here wih cormorants and Atlantic Terns in large numbers. It is also a great surfing location, with beach break surf for beginners as well as 5 to 8 metre giants at Outer Kom and Sunset Reef for the experts. Attractions include - walking, swimming, surfing, kayaking, angling, horse riding.

To the north beyond Chapmans Peak Drive is Hout Bay's World of Birds, Llandudno's beautful beach and then Camps Bay and Clifton. To the south are Scarborough and the Cape Point Natrue Reserve. Whilst 15 minutes away over the scenic Ou Kaapse Weg, are the False Bay villages and beaches in the warmer Indian Ocean - Simonstown, Fish Hoek, St James and Kalk Bay.
