The kitchen is well equipped (the owners being keen cooks!) and there is a spacious open plan lounge and dining room on two levels.

There is also a nice sheltered patio with a built in braai (weber style braai also available).

The location is perfect for just about every activity that Cape Town has to offer:

• Great family/surfing beaches - just three minutes drive down the road in Muizenberg or a little further down the coast in Fish Hoek (15 minutes)
• Ten minute drive to Kalk bay with its ‘artsy, fishing village’ atmosphere, many restaurants and antique shops.
• Easy striking distance of the town centre, table mountain and the V&A Waterfront (25 minutes) If you prefer you can also catch the train in to town from nearby Lakeside station. (1 or 2 minute walk)
• Easy striking distance of Simonstown, and the Cape Point nature reserve (about 25 and 35 minutes respectively).
• The nearby sandvlei (two minutes walk) - a unique semi-saline habitat – great for bird watching, kayaking and yachting.
• For golfers, the two golf courses of Clovelly and Westlake are about five minutes drive away, and both welcome visitors.
• Close to some of the most famous wine tasting farms in the Cape e.g. Groot Constantia(10 - 15 minutes drive)
• The world famous Kirstenbosch gardens are less than 20 minutes drive away.
• Lovely mountain and forest walks close by in Silvermine and Tokai forest, or, if you prefer, there’s a delightful coastal walkway along St James, between Muizenberg and Kalk bay.
• A great market specialising in epicurean food and farm produce at the Porter House Estate on Saturday mornings.
• Quality food store and fresh bakery just a one minute walk up the road.
• Also plenty of shops, restaurants, cinema and other amenities just a mile or two away at the Blue Route shopping centre in Tokai.
