Silo Concerts at the V&A Waterfront
Start off your new year with some swinging tunes on 3 January with the V&As Silo District Concerts.
Jumping, jiving, jitterbugging, swinging and hopping are all on the program for the night when the Swinging All Stars Band takes to the stage. There will be a dance floor set up, so dust off your dancing shoes and get to the Silo on the first Friday of 2020.
Cape Town Jazzathon at the V&A Waterfront
Smooth sounds are the order to the day at the 22nd running of the Cape Town Jazzathon from 9 – 12 January. For four days some of the country’s youngest up-and-coming jazz musicians will be entertaining the crowds.

Wolfkop Weekender in Citrusdal
Also known as the Lilo River Flow Music Festival, the Wolfkop Weekender takes place from 16 – 20 January 2020. This hotly anticipated event offers the opportunity to drift among the classic Citrusdal countryside while listening to the tunes of top local bands. So far, some of the performers include Abby Nurock, Dirty Doering, Killer Robot and Mac Motel.
The Hermanus Hemel-en-Aarde Pinot Noir Celebration
There’s more to Hermanus than the Whale Festival. This charming seaside village is also home to a thriving wine industry. From 24 – 25 January 2020 everyone who loves wine will be celebrating together with wine safaris, wine tastings, and workshops hosted by top chefs and winemakers.
You can look forward to tasting some wonderful wines, and inspiration at the hands of top wine experts while surrounded by the beautiful tranquil wine land scenes.
Harvest Festival at Delheim in Stellenbosch
It’s harvest time around the Stellenbosch winelands every January and this year you can join in the celebrations on 25 January at Delheim.
This historic, lush estate will be coming alive with the sounds of merriment as wine lovers sip the day away while their children entertain themselves with tractor rides, grape stomping, and grape picking.
