As usual, the V&A Waterfront is set to become a hive of activity this summer as millions of visitors flock to enjoy the attractions this popular destination has to offer.

The V&A is filled with fascinations for both visitors and locals alike. You can enjoy fine dining, grab a snack, head out on a boat or helicopter ride, visit awesome museums and even go to Robben Island.

The Zeitz MOCAA is a must-visit if you want to see the latest and greatest African art, wrapped up in some of the most stunning architectural design the city has to offer.

Now, this world-class venue is offering something new for you to try during your stay in Cape Town self-catering accommodation.

The Summer Silo concerts are the latest top hit for the V&A featuring top local artists as well as some up and coming stars.

What’s on the Programme?

Puesta Del Sol

Get ready for a Latin invasion on 6 December when Puesta Del Sol takes to the stage with a range of passionate Latino beats. First up, you’ll be treated to some traditional Argentinian beats, followed by a 6-piece ensemble pumping out the flamenco vibes. A high-energy salsa session ends the performance.

Bring your dancing shoes; there will be professional coaches to guide you every step of the way.

The Swinging All Stars Big Band

On 3 January 2020, concertgoers will enjoy some classic swing courtesy of the Swinging All Stars Band as well as guest DJs. Test your dancing skills and see if you can master the classic jive, jitterbug and hop in the style of the 30s and 40s.

Anecnote and The Soil

If you love acapella, head for the Silo on 7 February when Anecdote and The Soil join forces to entertain the crowds.

The Details

The shows are on every first Friday of the month from 7pm, and you can join the fun on the lawns and paving outside the Zeitz MOCCA. The best part is that it’s all free, so arrive early to secure a good spot among the crowds.
